A Vendor of Record arrangement is a list of suppliers the Ontario Public Service has pre-qualified through a competitive process for a category of goods or services. Getting on it requires a successful response to the government’s request for proposals, reference checks and tax-compliance verification. Once a vendor is on the arrangement, ministries can engage it for assignments in that category through a second-stage selection among the qualified vendors, without running a new open procurement each time.
